He is survived by his Mother, Judith Boedecker, of Boulder, Colorado , and Father and Step Mother, George and Karin Boedecker of Lyons, Colorado. Scott is also survived by his two brother's, John Richard Boedecker, of Georgia, and George Brian Boedecker Jr., of Boulder, as well as his two sisters, Kirsten Anne Boedecker, of Boulder, and Nicole (Tony) Hantzopoulos of Boston Mass, and his maternal Grandmother Virginia Scott, of Port St. Lucie, Florida. He is also survived by his Aunt Virginia and Uncle Wayne Curry of Tucson, Arizona.

Scott was also an Uncle to several adoring nieces and nephews: John, Brianna, Tiffany, Sophia, Jenna, and Barron Boedecker , Madison Moorhead, John and Andrew Hantzopoulos, and a Great Niece, Jovie Wayman.

Scott Donald Boedecker was kind-hearted and generous. His boyish grin, contagious laugh, and passion for people will be sorely missed by all those that knew and loved him. He was one of a kind in a million different ways, and he has touched and enriched the lives of all those he leaves behind. Take care Scotty...we Love you, and will never forget the times we shared, and how you could always make us laugh and smile.

Scott was born on March 31, 1960 in Lyons, NY.

Scott attended Boulder County schools and graduated from Fairview High School in 1979. He attended Eastern State University in Billings Montana, and Front Range Community College in Boulder. He entered The United States Navy in 1988, where he served as an electronics warfare specialist during The Gulf War. He received an Honorable Discharge in 1991. Scott worked for Croc's Footwear, and most recently had been working for a variety of Christian Outreach Ministry Programs throughout Florida. Throughout his life, Scott had been passionate about Music, and was a founding member and bassist for the Boulder-based rock band, "The Feds". He was a talented chef, and on many occasions cooked for large groups of people. Scott enjoyed the outdoors, running, and had a deep love for animals - leaving behind his long-time companion "Tippy", his Dachshund.

A public celebration of his life is being scheduled for June, in Boulder, Colorado. Donations on his behalf can be made to The Anthony H. Kruse Foundation in Boulder Colorado.

Scott was a very good friend of mine; we had many good times and have been friends since we met. Scott, God Bless, you are missed. May you find the piece you have always longed to have.
